I rode my motorcycle down Victoria Avenue yesterday. I observed ribbons and bows tied on trees I assume marked for clear-cut.
On a full sun day Victoria Avenue is a shady destination or nature-bathing route for me.
This morning I was parked downtown. No option to pay parking lot to the east. I observed a bylaw officer peaking between the curtains through the front window of the business I was patronizing and then noticed that my tires were being chalked for the two-hour parking tolerance.
Their first hour open for business in Phase II. Oh, the new normal is upon us?
I already miss normal, as just the preferred setting on my washing machine. Cool it, let it be!
